English Lessons in Basel and Surroundings

We are pleased to offer you tailor-made, practice-oriented English lessons with personal care and tutoring (Nachhilfe-, Privat- bzw. Einzelunterricht) in Basel and the surrounding areas. We use simple but effective English training methods.

We do not offer lessons or training for any English language exams or certificates, for example, for the Cambridge A1, A2, B1, B2, or C1, C2 levels, for the FCE (First Certificate in English), or for the TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language), etc.

We have experience training individuals (not groups) on a one-to-one basis to improved their already existing level of English, for example, to improve their Business English, or to learn or improve English for use in other areas. 

By using our English training methods, you will:

• learn English words and improve grammar by practice and use, not by memorization
• speak English a lot (no language lab - we use personal care and tutoring)
• advance at your own learning speed so you are not slowed down nor speeded up
• eliminate your deficiencies in English while improving your English confidence

In trade, commerce, business, politics, science, IT, engineering, tourism, the financial world, to name just a few areas, English is often spoken. To be successful, however, you need to have a good command of English to avoid misunderstandings.School English is not enough. 

Our native language (Muttersprache) is (American) English. We also speak German very well and have a basic knowledge of French. We have taught English, as well as other subjects.

Our English lessons are practical, effective & enjoyable. They are tailored (massgeschneidert) to your specific needs and specific goals, or to the group's needs. Our lessons enable you to be more successful in your business, your work and in your personal relationships. With our lessons, you will have less problems and less difficulties when communicating in English.
